This is a watercolor painting I did for practice.
It's a watercolor illustration depicting a Ferrari speeding through a city with the snow-covered Tateyama mountain range in the background. It feels so out of place, haha!😅
By incorporating a streetcar and cityscape, I aimed to create a scene unique to Toyama, combining a supercar with a local landscape. The juxtaposition of a modern sports car and the rich natural scenery of Hokuriku creates a unique sense of incongruity. Lol.
I think the contrast between the transparent blue sky and the soft depiction of the snowy mountains, characteristic of watercolors, and the sharp lines of the car's body is quite interesting. This type of artwork can be created not only as a commemorative illustration of your car but also as a custom piece that includes a memorable landscape.
By combining not just cars but also memorable cityscapes or travel destinations, you can create a truly unique piece of art. This particular piece was created by combining separate images.
